Astera Legal advised Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale – on the refinancing of GIATA-Group

GIATA, a portfolio company of the Odewald KMU II fund, develops and markets mapping services, content production in up to 25 languages and content distribution solutions for the hospitality industry. The company headquartered in Berlin provides, among others, the world's largest mapping service application for hotels and room types and serves more than 20,000 customers in more than 70 countries across the globe. Its tailor-made full-service solutions combine AI-technologies with manual services by its highly experienced GIATA-team. Therefore, its customers include travel agencies like TUI, DerTour and Schmetterling, travel technology providers like Amadeus/Traveltainment and Sabre as well as globally operating Online Travel Agencies like Priceline, Expedia, TripAdvisor and HolidayCheck. Since 2018, GIATA is a key content provider to Google to help hotels update their business information on the search platform.

Norddeutsche Landesbank – Girozentrale – structures and arranges financing solutions for the purchase of medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries with a transaction volume between EUR 10 million and EUR 100 million.
