Astera Legal advised TeamVet Beteiligungs GmbH on the financing of the acquisition of Tierklinik Lüsche GmbH. The financing was provided by Deutsche Bank AG and Hamburger Sparkasse AG. Astera Legal also provided legal support for the refinancing of existing credit lines. The parties agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.

Tierklinik Lüsche GmbH is one of the most modern and largest equine clinics in Europe with over 80 horse stalls including the intensive care and isolation ward and over 120 employees spread over 2 locations. The clinic covers all important specialties of internal medicine and orthopaedics or sports medicine. In addition, with the X-ray and ultrasound equipment but also, among other things, scintigraphy, MRI, Qualisys and the innovative CT, offer extensive imaging capabilities. In addition to the work in the clinic, the veterinarians care for the German riders of the Olympic team.
